Rare Colors: I have seen other website where the breeder claims that red and while Boston Terriers are considered rare. Is this true? Is this why they are asking so much money for their puppies? Thank you for your reply - this website is so informative and well put together. |

Tear Stains: Love your website. I have a one year old boston terrier that has a lot of white on his face. The fur around his eyes, and the creases on the sides of his nose, are becoming discolored. Does any of your dogs have this problem? If so, is there something you can recommend to clean these areas? I'm afraid to use anything harsh, because the stains are so close to his eyes. Thanks for your help. |

Gas: Finally I think I have found someone with a website that actually knows something about Boston Terriers!!! You are really providing a great service and your dedication to this wonderful breed shows.
I recently received a 15 month old Boston Terrier from a relative that can no longer care for her. Our girl, Clover, is healthy and has lots of energy. However she had a problem with GAS. She eats only dog food, no table scraps, and is only given treats on special occasions. Her dog food is Pedigree. Should I change her diet? What brand of dog food do you suggest? Thank you for all that you are doing. |

Foaming at the Mouth: Wow, I'm glad I ran across your website! Question: My dog began foaming at the mouth after playing outside. I searched the web, but all the info I found indicated that my dog might have rabies or distemper? I'm pretty sure that my dog doesn't have either of these because the foaming stopped after a few minutes, and he isn't showing any other symptoms. Also he is current on all his vaccinations. Have you ever experienced this with any of your dogs? |
